Take Another Look At Knowledge
It is dangerous to think that what you know is all you need to know. Anyone who drives a car will understand there are blind spots right beside you. Changing lanes into somebody you were convinced was not there proves you need to know more than you thought you knew!
Proverbs 12:15 NLT
“Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.”
When the bible mentions the counsel of others it is referring to other people who obey God and walk with Him. Anybody can find somebody who will agree with the way you currently think about things.
Wisdom will look at the way most normal people look at things as a quick counter balance to check we don't have a blind spot. It is foolish to only trust what you only know about things.
Ultimately though, wisdom is to know what God thinks about things. This will keep you on track in case the only people in your circle don't yet trust God for their knowledge and direction.
May God's word (the bible) become our highest reference point as we seek truth in a world of confusion.
