Gracism

 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people.

It is easy to have a prejudice in this world. I mean, everybody is different to somebody. It’s this difference that makes us uncomfortable.

The strange this is we all want to be noticed. We want to be loved and accepted for who we are. But how would we stand out from anybody else unless we were different?

Even the subtle differences of identical twins are extremely important for people to be loved as individuals. It is beautiful to be accepted for who you are.

This is where it all breaks down.. Who am I really?

I have lost my way in this life because sin has separated me from my God who created me. We were all made in God’s image but the fall [of Adam] has distorted our true identity.

So, not only are we different from each other, we are all different from who God made us to be - we were all made to be like Him!

Only by God’s grace can we come back into relationship with God, and this through faith in Jesus. It is because of God that we find our way back to Him. It’s His gracism.

Let’s not pay back evil nature for evil nature - let’s try to do good to each other and to all people.
